The Principal Solutions Architect for AWS Technical Alliances at Tenable is a key field-facing role responsible for driving the technical depth and strategic impact of the AWS go-to-market partnership. This remote position within the US is well-suited for a skilled cloud architecture professional who thrives on executive-level collaboration, partner-led sales motions, and cloud ecosystem strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the main technical liaison to AWS, building relationships with AWS Partner Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, and the Amazon Bedrock team.
Lead the AWS technical enablement plan, delivering structured programs for Tenable field solutions engineers and AWS customer-facing teams.
Drive AWS competency application workstreams, including design wins, technical validation, and documentation.
Manage partnership workstreams with program management discipline, overseeing milestones, enablement programs, and executive reporting.
Advance the AWS Marketplace and co-sell motion, supporting Salesforce-tracked pipelines and partner relationship management tagging.
Shape the strategic narrative regarding Tenable and AWS AI agentic architectures, including integrations with Amazon Bedrock.
Create technical assets such as architecture diagrams, integration guides, demo environments, and partner solution briefs.
Support executive briefings and VP-level escalations when partnership timelines face risks.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Partner Engineering, or Technical Alliances, with at least 3 years focused on cloud or SaaS.
Demonstrable expertise in AWS spanning compute, networking, identity, security services, and marketplace mechanics.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage concurrent workstreams and cross-functional deliverables.
Excellent communication skills tailored for audiences ranging from field technical teams to C-suite stakeholders.
Familiarity with CRM and Salesforce pipeline workflows alongside partner relationship management tools.
Comfort using AI and generative tools to accelerate documentation, reporting, and enablement workflows.
Work authorization for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice to Have

AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification.
Experience working within Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform partner ecosystems.
Background in cybersecurity, specifically covering vulnerability management, exposure management, or cloud security posture.
Familiarity with Tenable product offerings or competitive landscapes.
Practical experience with LLM integrations, Amazon Bedrock, or agentic AI architectures.
Prior success achieving joint design wins and building AWS Competency applications.

Base pay range of $175,000 to $233,666.67 USD, determined by qualifications, location, and experience.
