Role Overview

Fairmarkit is launching an innovative AI and Agentic division and requires a dedicated Principal Recruiter to discover the builders behind it. Operating as an individual contributor, this position involves end-to-end management of technical hiring without team management duties. Collaboration with co-founders and hiring leadership ensures the creation of robust talent pipelines from scratch for specialized technical roles.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete recruiting cycle for United States remote-based AI and engineering positions, covering intake, sourcing, screening, coordination, offers, and closing.
Develop proactive talent pipelines utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, community forums, AI networks, and alternative outbound methods.
Collaborate directly with hiring managers and co-founders to comprehend role requirements and construct compelling outreach.
Maintain a positive candidate experience across all stages without handoffs or gaps.
Engage technical candidates credibly by discussing the tech stack and the professional opportunity.
Handle offer management, compensation negotiations, and candidate closing.
Track pipeline metrics within an applicant tracking system, including time-to-fill and conversion rates.
Contribute to employer branding efforts targeted at engineering professionals.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience inside a B2B software or technology organization.
Demonstrated success managing the entire recruitment lifecycle for challenging engineering roles.
Direct background in hiring artificial intelligence, machine learning, or agentic systems engineers.
Knowledge of technical communities such as Hugging Face, LangChain Discord, and AI GitHub organizations.
Genuine interest in artificial intelligence, with experience utilizing AI agents and workflow automations to improve recruitment results.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems like Ashby or Greenhouse.
Strong ownership mindset and clear communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

The annual compensation spans from $178,000 to $205,000, which includes a bonus, and is contingent on experience and location. Additional perks include equity and benefits.
