Role Overview

The Principal Product Manager position at Tactiq is a remote, full-time role based in Sydney that suits an experienced product professional with a strong technical background. This hands-on builder role involves owning product strategy and execution across key company initiatives such as Growth and Distribution, Core AI Excellence, Team and Collaboration, and Monetization and Packaging.

Key Responsibilities

Prototype features using artificial intelligence tools like Claude, Cursor, and Lovable to ship minimum viable products.
Design and execute end-to-end A/B tests, establish success metrics, evaluate results, and make strategic decisions.
Conduct deep-dive data analysis independently using SQL and Mixpanel to uncover unique insights.
Conduct continuous user research by speaking with customers every week to discover genuine needs.
Iterate rapidly by shipping, measuring, learning, and releasing updates in weeks rather than months.

Requirements

Bring eight or more years of overall experience working in product roles.
Possess at least three years of specific experience in business-to-business software-as-a-service product-led growth.
Have direct experience building products with artificial intelligence, including prompt engineering, model testing, and shipping features.
Demonstrate deep technical capabilities, such as launching personal products, building dashboards, and writing code if necessary.
Understand product-led growth mechanics, including activation, habit loops, and expansion triggers.
Approach product development as a builder who prefers shipping rough prototypes quickly over lengthy specifications.

Nice to Have

Experience serving as a founding product manager or sole product manager at a high-growth startup or YCombinator company.
Background working with browser-based products or Chrome extensions.
Prior involvement in building AI agents, workflow automations, or Model Context Protocols.
Experience working on collaboration, productivity, or meeting software tools.
Familiarity with the Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Zoom ecosystems.
