Role Overview
The Partner Success Manager (AWS) position at Deepgram is a full-time, fully remote role based in the USA, designed for an experienced professional ready to take full ownership of a marquee $15M alliance. This opportunity suits an autonomous expert who thrives in ambiguity, leverages advanced AI daily, and possesses a strong blend of technical consulting and strategic partner management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Own the entire AWS relationship from end to end, holding accountability for technical adoption, commercial outcomes, retention, and expansion.
Serve as the primary trusted advisor across AWS stakeholders, ranging from solutions architects and partner development managers to senior technical and commercial leadership.
Drive joint adoption through live demos, interactive workshops, architecture guidance, and troubleshooting to ensure Deepgram succeeds inside AWS environments and for end customers.
Manage the Marketplace and co-sell motion, which includes handling listings, private offers, deal structuring, commit drawdown, and joint pipelines with AWS field teams.
Navigate complex three-way dynamics where Deepgram, AWS, and the end customer have competing interests, finding a viable path forward for all parties.
Conduct independent partner business reviews and joint planning, while identifying and scoping expansion opportunities alongside the Sales team.
Act as the internal voice of the partner to influence product roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, and internal tool development.
Track adoption, usage, health metrics, and expansion to drive positive business outcomes, with an expectation to travel to partner sites approximately three to five times per quarter.
Operate with an AI-first mindset by default, building custom tools, agents, and workflows that eliminate recurring manual work for the team.
Requirements
Demonstrated history of personally owning a strategic partner or customer relationship rather than merely supporting one, including accountability for decisions and outcomes.
Experience handling meaningful scale, managing accounts or partner books at roughly $500K+ ARR each, or partner relationships with comparable revenue attached.
Significant experience in technical, customer-facing roles within API-driven, developer-first, cloud, infrastructure, or AI companies.
Comprehensive understanding of partner ecosystems and channel business models, such as resale, referral, integrations, marketplace, co-marketing, co-selling, and multi-party commercial dynamics.
Hands-on experience leading demos, proof-of-concepts, or technical workshops with enterprise partners or customers.
A proven track record of independently identifying and landing expansion in complex partner or enterprise relationships.
Fluency in discussing APIs, integrations, developer workflows, and troubleshooting level-one style technical issues.
Experience engaging both technical stakeholders and executive buyers with exceptional, concise, and structured communication.
Evidence of building a tool, agent, script, or workflow that permanently eliminated recurring work.
An AI-native operating model featuring specific workflows that structurally depend on artificial intelligence.
Nice to Have
Direct experience with the AWS ecosystem, including Marketplace, private offers, CPPO, APN programs, MAP or other funding mechanisms, and co-sell motions with AWS field teams.
Experience with consumption-based commercial models and the conversion of technical adoption into revenue.
Background in machine learning, voice AI, cloud infrastructure, GenAI or GPU workloads, and developer-first technologies.
Experience building a partner function from scratch at a smaller organization.
