Role Overview

The Motion Designer and Video Editor acts as the bridge between written scripts and final video production for KnowledgeCity. This position focuses on visualizing corporate training materials in subjects such as business, finance, compliance, safety, and technology. The ideal candidate will create detailed storyboards, curate media assets, and collaborate with motion graphics teams to produce professional B2B educational content in Egypt.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and visualize technical corporate scripts to translate abstract concepts into engaging visual narratives for B2B audiences.
Search for and select relevant stock video footage and imagery from platforms like Adobe Stock to match voiceover context and timing.
Utilize generative artificial intelligence tools, such as Midjourney and Adobe Firefly, to create unique visual concepts when standard stock media is unavailable.
Create comprehensive storyboards mapping out the visual flow of lessons alongside audio sections.
Design and modify vector illustrations and typography using Adobe Illustrator for animation readiness.
Organize and package selected video, image, and vector assets for smooth handover to motion graphics designers.
Use basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects to check timing and ensure media flows well with audio.
Maintain quality control to ensure all visual assets adhere to company brand guidelines and a professional corporate tone.

Requirements

Three or more years of professional experience in multimedia design, video editing, or visual storytelling.
Exceptional command of the English language with the ability to comprehend complex corporate topics like finance, compliance, and IT.
Expert skill in searching and curating hard-to-find stock footage for business concepts.
Strong eye for composition, color, and visual consistency suited for corporate education.
Ability to write clear notes and instructions for motion graphics animators.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple course projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
