Key Responsibilities

Build and launch Android features utilizing Kotlin.
Develop clean mobile flows covering insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and other financial services.
Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complex user journeys.
Integrate backend APIs while maintaining stable, secure, and reliable mobile flows.
Enhance application performance, reduce crash rates, optimize loading states, improve responsiveness, and manage memory usage.
Utilize analytics, user behavior data, and production issue tracking to refine the product.
Construct artificial intelligence-assisted mobile experiences specifically where they enhance the user journey.

Requirements

Three or more years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
Strong Android fundamentals alongside experience in shipping production applications.
Proficiency in Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architecture.
Strong awareness of mobile user experience, usability, edge cases, and user flows.
Experience with REST API integration and production debugging.
High ownership, rapid execution, and strict attention to product quality.
Ability to communicate in English.
Current residency in Japan.
