Role Overview

BJAK seeks a mobile developer to construct the native Android experience for an artificial intelligence finance agent. The professional will focus on fast performance, clean user flows, product quality, and reliable mobile features utilized by real customers.

Key Responsibilities

Build and launch Android features using Kotlin.
Design clean mobile workflows covering insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services.
Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complicated user journeys.
Integrate backend application programming interfaces while ensuring stable, secure, and dependable mobile flows.
Enhance application performance, minimize crash rates, optimize loading states, increase responsiveness, and manage memory usage.
Utilize analytics, user behavior metrics, and production error logs to refine the product.
Construct artificial intelligence-assisted mobile experiences when they genuinely enhance the user journey.

Requirements

Three or more years of Android development experience utilizing Kotlin.
Solid Android fundamentals along with practical experience deploying production applications.
Working knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and contemporary Android architecture.
Strong awareness of mobile user experience, usability principles, edge cases, and user journeys.
Experience integrating REST application programming interfaces and debugging production problems.
Fast execution capability, high personal ownership, and strict attention to product quality.
Proficiency in English for communication across global teams.
Current residency in Portugal.
