Role Overview

BEES seeks a dedicated professional to enhance machine learning platform capabilities and streamline model development workflows. The engineer will work directly on training jobs, batch and online serving, and inference services while adhering to established architectural standards. Responsibilities include building robust observability mechanisms to track model quality, performance, and drift in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and extend machine learning platform capabilities, covering training jobs, batch serving, online serving, and inference services.
Develop and maintain components for the model development workflow to boost consistency, reproducibility, and reuse.
Build and operate comprehensive observability systems—including logging, monitoring, and alerting—for models in training and production.
Support optimized model deployments by managing scaling, resource allocation, and inference tuning to satisfy cost and SLA targets.
Troubleshoot pipeline and serving issues, document resolution steps, and share technical knowledge across teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or another quantitative discipline.
Practical experience handling machine learning platform components like feature pipelines, model registries, and training workflows.
Solid software engineering fundamentals including clean code practices, testing, CI/CD, and maintainable system design.
Programming proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
Experience working with Kubernetes, Databricks, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud, and standard ML frameworks.

Nice to Have

Exposure to Java development.
Experience with serving tools such as BentoML, Kedro, Seldon, KServe, and Triton Inference Server.
