About this role
Aspenview Technology Partners is seeking a Mid-Level AI Platform Engineer to support a strategic client building an AI-native SaaS platform for enterprise sales organizations. The core team develops multi-agent research and qualification workflows that process public and proprietary data to deliver audited account briefs, stakeholder maps, and CRM-integrated recommendations.
In this position, the engineer acts as a bridge between engineering leadership and the development team by managing the operational side of the platform. Responsibilities include resolving production issues, investigating customer-reported bugs, improving output quality for multi-agent pipelines, and implementing incremental product enhancements. A successful candidate possesses strong backend skills, hands-on LLM debugging experience, and a systematic approach to quality assurance.
What you will do
- Manage daily production issue triage from support channels through diagnosis, resolution, and follow-up with the reporter.
- Monitor and improve the output quality of multi-agent research and qualification pipelines to prevent stale facts and broken citations.
- Deliver scoped product enhancements such as filtering, bulk imports, and UI polish that are sized in days rather than quarters.
- Maintain the established release process across local, development, staging, and production environments with proper verification steps.
- Handle feature flags, tenant configuration, and environment variables across multiple tenants.
- Establish systematic QA practices, including regression coverage for connectors and pre-demo verifications.
- Execute approved architectural plans faithfully to ensure designs are implemented according to specifications.
What you need
- Bring 4 to 8 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in a startup or growth-stage environment where you owned production systems.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience building and debugging LLM and multi-agent workflows, including prompt engineering, tool calling, and latency control.
- Possess strong backend and API capabilities with fluency in Git and pull request workflows, log analysis, and distributed system debugging.
- Demonstrate a robust quality assurance mindset by thoroughly testing your own work and anticipating regressions before deployment.
- Utilize AI coding tools effectively while carefully reviewing generated code rather than trusting it blindly.
- Communicate directly and with low ego, bridging technical concepts and business needs with product, customer success, and sales teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with data quality, provenance, citation, or fact-verification systems
- Exposure to Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar AI integration layers
- Prior work in CRM, sales technology, or revenue intelligence products
- Comfort supporting live enterprise customers, including handling in-flight fixes prior to customer meetings
- Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, or SAP enterprise ecosystems

This is a fully remote contract engagement within the United States that requires regular overlap with US Eastern business hours.

Who does this role report to and collaborate with?
You will report directly to the client's CTO and Co-Founder while working closely with two other engineers, the Head of Product and Delivery, and the Customer Success Management team.
