About this role
Developing production Agentforce agents forms the core of daily responsibilities, requiring the creation of topics, actions, grounding mechanisms, and evaluation harnesses that verify correct behavior. AspenView Technology Partners is hiring an AI or Data Engineer to help establish early-market patterns for Agentforce, which currently sees adoption among roughly ten to fifteen percent of Salesforce customers. The contributor will join a North American client squad under delivery leadership to build guardrails against prompt injection, prepare structured and unstructured retrieval data, and instrument observability systems.
This full-time contractor position operates remotely from Latin American delivery centers while maintaining core business hours overlap with North American clients. Ideal candidates bring software or data engineering backgrounds alongside practical experience testing prompts systematically and understanding AI risks like hallucination and PII exposure. What you will do
- Design and build agents in Agentforce Agent Builder by defining topics, instructions, and operational boundaries.
- Implement various actions utilizing Flow, Apex, prompt templates, and external APIs.
- Establish grounding frameworks using Data 360 and retrieval sources to ensure model responses rely on factual data.
- Implement guardrails against prompt injection, data leakage, and out-of-scope action execution.
- Build evaluation sets and regression tests for agent behavior to run prior to every change.
- Analyze live transcripts and deflection data to drive evidence-based improvements for agent performance.
What you need
- Four or more years of professional experience in software or data engineering with hands-on production work building LLM-backed applications.
- Practical background in prompt engineering and systematic prompt testing.
- Familiarity with AI risks, including hallucinations, prompt injection, PII exposure, and action authorization.
- Technical expertise in Salesforce tools including Agent Builder, Prompt Builder, Einstein Trust Layer, Flow, and Apex.
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation concepts such as embeddings, chunking, vector retrieval, and grounding evaluation.
- Professional English proficiency for conducting direct requirement and design conversations with North American stakeholders.
