Key Responsibilities

Build automated workflows for support functions including intake, diagnosis, response drafting, remediation, and verification.
Create tool-using agents capable of securely inspecting logs, configuration, and provider behavior to execute recovery actions.
Design comprehensive eval suites to measure diagnostic correctness, safety, and end-to-end task completion.
Develop human-in-the-loop architectures that manage ownership, uncertainty, approvals, and failure states.
Establish observability, memory loops, and feedback mechanisms allowing agents to learn from real-world cases.
Drive product improvements that eliminate entire classes of customer friction.

Requirements

Bring two to four years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on applied AI.
Demonstrate practical experience building production systems utilizing language models, tool calling, retrieval, structured outputs, or multi-step workflows.
Apply evals, traces, and failure analysis to construct dependable AI architectures.
Possess strong backend, platform, or integration engineering skills to debug across HTTP, webhooks, OAuth, queues, and third-party APIs.
Communicate clearly under uncertainty and enjoy direct collaboration with technical users.

Nice to Have

Production experience using TypeScript or Python.
Background in developing AI agents, copilots, or evaluation infrastructure.
Prior exposure to developer platforms, API products, support engineering, or incident response.
Familiarity with Postgres, cloud observability, rate limits, and OAuth 2.0.
Experience utilizing support systems such as Zendesk, Intercom, Salesforce, or Plain.
History of open source contributions or public technical writing.
