Role Overview

As a MarTech and Growth Engineer, you will own and evolve the technical infrastructure powering customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will act as a hands-on builder who writes code, connects APIs, designs data flows, automates workflows, implements tracking, and ships solutions directly. Working closely with marketing teams, your objective is to make the growth organization dramatically more technical, automated, and data-driven.

Key Responsibilities

Own and improve the platforms and infrastructure powering acquisition, attribution, lifecycle marketing, analytics, and experimentation.
Design and maintain data pipelines that move customer data, identities, audiences, and conversions across the ecosystem.
Apply strong engineering practices to eliminate manual workflows across marketing, reporting, campaign operations, and experimentation.
Embed artificial intelligence into marketing operations by building agents and tools to launch and optimize campaigns.
Build and maintain conversion tracking across platforms like Meta, Google, TikTok, AppsFlyer, web, and mobile using pixels, SDKs, server-side events, and deep links.
Build data flows, triggers, and audiences to support sophisticated lifecycle programs and rapid experimentation.
Prototype new growth ideas by constructing landing pages, internal tools, scripts, automations, and lightweight product experiences.
Diagnose funnels, measure experiments, and identify opportunities using analytics tools.
Test emerging technology and integrate high-leverage tools into the existing stack.

Requirements

Six or more years of professional experience in growth engineering, MarTech engineering, data engineering, software engineering, or related technical roles.
Strong practical experience working with TypeScript or Python alongside SQL.
Demonstrated ability to build systems using APIs, webhooks, SDKs, and event-driven architectures.
Hands-on background utilizing modern MarTech or data platforms such as Segment, Hightouch, Braze, Amplitude, AppsFlyer, Snowflake, GA4, Google Tag Manager, or Meta CAPI.
Solid comprehension of event instrumentation, identity, attribution, conversion tracking, experimentation, and data quality standards.
Experience applying large language models, AI coding tools, workflow automation, or AI agents to resolve real-world problems.
Capable of navigating ambiguous challenges from initial ideation through implementation and final measurement.

Nice to Have

Background working inside a high-growth consumer business managing significant paid acquisition spend.
Prior professional exposure within FinTech or other heavily regulated industries.
Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, feature flags, or personalization engines.
Experience creating internal tools or specialized data products tailored for growth teams.
Knowledge of privacy regulations, consent frameworks, and their impact on advertising and analytics infrastructure.
