Crusoe is hiring a full-time Manager, Technical Recruiting for their San Francisco, CA office to lead the technical hiring function during a period of rapid company growth. This role suits an experienced talent leader who combines strategic guidance with hands-on operational excellence to scale technical teams across engineering, AI, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical recruiters and sourcers to foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Own recruiting execution across multiple technical organizations to meet hiring goals while maintaining high talent standards.
Partner directly with engineering, infrastructure, AI, product, and executive leadership on workforce planning and long-term hiring needs.
Collaborate with recruiting operations to optimize systems, processes, reporting, and tooling for scalability.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and recruiter productivity.
Drive full-cycle recruiting strategies and coach team members on sourcing, candidate assessment, and closing techniques.
Champion inclusive hiring practices and structured interview processes for consistent decision-making.

Requirements

Seven or more years of technical recruiting experience, including leadership experience within a high-growth technology company.
Proven success in managing technical recruiters or sourcers while meeting ambitious hiring goals.
Direct partnership experience with engineering and executive leadership on complex hiring initiatives.
Hands-on expertise with applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, and recruiting technologies.
Strong analytical skills using data to drive operational improvements and business decisions.
Exceptional project management, communication, and executive presence.

Nice to Have

Experience scaling recruiting functions through hypergrowth, IPO preparation, or major organizational expansion.
Specialized knowledge in AI-enabled recruiting tools, automation platforms, and recruiter enablement programs.
Background in recruiting for infrastructure, cloud computing, AI/ML, hardware, manufacturing, or data center sectors.
