About this role

The Manager, Strategic Finance joins CoreWeave to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial narrative of a company operating at the forefront of AI infrastructure. This individual will be central to understanding and planning for the company's rapid growth trajectory, especially given that revenue is contracted years in advance and capital expenditures are substantial. The team operates in an environment characterized by uncertainty, requiring a proactive approach to forecasting and planning that directly influences leadership decisions regarding capacity, capital, and customer acquisition. This role is crucial because it helps establish the financial playbook for a business in a hyper-growth phase, moving beyond existing models to define how the company manages its financial reality.

Day-to-day responsibilities involve owning key components of the three-statement model and cash forecasts, translating contracted revenue and capital plans into actionable outlooks for leadership. The manager will drive the planning cycles leading up to public earnings, rigorously testing assumptions and providing clear explanations for changes. A significant part of the work involves defining and tracking key performance indicators related to contract economics and margins, and then presenting these findings to senior leadership and the Board.

This position is suited for a candidate who thrives when building structure in ambiguous environments. The ideal candidate possesses strong judgment, excellent communication skills for senior audiences, and the ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear recommendations. Success in this role depends on the ability to partner cross-functionally and maintain consistency across all financial reporting streams.

What you will do

  • Translate contracted revenue, capacity deployment, and capex plans into outlooks for leadership decision-making.
  • Drive planning processes that support the public earnings cycles.

  • Define and track metrics related to contract economics, margins, and capital efficiency.
  • Present critical financial topics to leadership regarding performance insights.
  • Build the monthly, quarterly, and annual materials relied upon by the executive team and Board.
  • Support earnings preparation, guidance, and investor dialogue, including analysis for financing and rating agencies.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Business Finance, Treasury, and operating teams to ensure numerical consistency.

What you need

  • Possess at least four years of finance experience, preferably most recently in central or corporate FP&A at a large-scale technology company or a fast-paced startup.

  • Must possess sound judgment regarding financial implications and the ability to produce clear recommendations from complex inputs.
  • Requires strong written and presentation skills tailored for senior audiences, including executives and the Board.
  • Must be comfortable operating within ambiguity and a fast-paced environment.
