Role Overview

The Manager, Field Engineering position involves leading a group of Solutions Architects and Solutions Engineers within Germany. Key Responsibilities

Hire, mentor, and expand the pre-sales team in Germany
Foster a collaborative and motivated culture within a growing team
Support the increased return on investment for Solutions Architect involvement in sales cycles
Promote value-based and solution-oriented selling across the field-engineering organization
Understand the revenue potential and needs of assigned regional accounts
Engage directly with customer executives to strengthen strategic partnerships
Align with internal services and partners to establish account implementation strategies
Partner with regional Sales and Marketing teams to build the company brand as a member of the leadership team

Requirements

Experience managing successful teams of SaaS, Cloud, or Big Data professionals
Background working in consumption-based business environments
Experience scaling and mentoring technical teams
Track record of establishing processes that drive product focus and efficiency for technical field personnel
Ability to collaborate alongside Sales and other cross-functional leaders
Technical or consulting background in Data Science, Database technologies, or Data Engineering
Native German speaker with fluency in English
