What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and support an inclusive team of pre-sales Solutions Architects covering the Japan region.
- Collaborate with sales and cross-functional departments to uncover new opportunities and deliver value-focused technical solutions.
- Establish best practices that enhance team efficiency, collaboration, and overall business impact.
- Act as a strategic advisor to customers and partners during their digital transformation initiatives.
- Partner with marketing, services, and sales to maintain a smooth and cohesive customer experience.
- Represent the company as an active member of the regional leadership team to strengthen local culture and market presence.
What you need
- Demonstrated background leading or managing technical teams within SaaS, cloud, or big data domains, or equivalent hands-on engineering and consulting experience.
- A proven track record of coaching, developing, and retaining diverse, high-performing professionals.
- Strong collaborative abilities to partner effectively with sales, marketing, and other organizational leaders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with clear verbal and written communication abilities.
- A technical foundation in databases, data engineering, or data science, ideally gained through customer-facing or consulting roles.
- Fluent Japanese language proficiency alongside strongly preferred business-level English.
