Manager, Delivery Solutions Architects - Financial Services
About this role
Financial services firms need to accelerate how data and AI transform their business operations, requiring leadership to drive post-sales success across major customer accounts. Databricks needs a leader to build and guide a team of Delivery Solution Architects focused on the company's largest financial services clients.
In this capacity, the manager establishes technical strategy, manages capacity planning, and acts as a trusted technical advisor to client C-suites. The person stepping into this role will hire and coach senior technical talent, shape internal playbooks, and partner with sales and field leadership to reduce customer risk and increase use-case throughput.
What you will do
- Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Delivery Solution Architects.
- Own capacity planning, investment forecasting, and data-driven investment decisions across the financial services portfolio.
- Partner with sales, pre-sales, professional services, and systems integrators to accelerate use case delivery and reduce customer risk.
- Drive measurable customer outcomes including use-case throughput, time-to-production, consumption growth, and renewal rates.
- Build the systems, operating cadences, and playbooks needed to scale the delivery practice.
What you need
- Bring 5+ years of experience managing a customer-facing technical team such as solution architects or technical account managers.
- Demonstrate prior leadership of pre-sales or post-sales technical talent.
- Show a track record of putting data and AI workloads into production at scale.
- Possess familiarity with business problems and data and AI use cases in financial services fields like banking, capital markets, insurance, or asset management.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrate a track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar objective targets.

The pay range for this position is $197,100 to $270,975 USD. Actual compensation packages are based on factors such as job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications, and specific work location.
