About this role
Ripple is building crypto solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments, and developers to improve the global financial system. The AI platform engineering team focuses on developing GSmart, a system that powers smart features across enterprise treasury products.
As the Manager of AI Platform Engineering, you will own the platform roadmap and delivery end-to-end while helping convert customer challenges into technical solutions. You will handle greenfield projects, shape architecture, write full-stack production code, and hire, mentor, and grow the engineering team.

What you will do
- Own the AI platform roadmap and delivery from start to finish.
- Ensure platform artificial intelligence remains measurable and dependable.
- Collaborate with product and solution teams to address actual customer challenges.
- Enable other teams to build on the platform and take ownership of their deliverables.
- Hire, mentor, and grow the platform AI engineering team.
- Contribute directly to architecture and full-stack production code.
What you need
- Bring seven or more years of software engineering experience, covering full-stack development and AI or machine learning platform infrastructure.
- Demonstrate at least two years of engineering management experience.
- Possess strong full-stack development skills ranging from the front-end through back-end and APIs, accompanied by solid cloud infrastructure experience.
- Bring hands-on experience operating artificial intelligence systems in production.
- Maintain a deep and current command of artificial intelligence alongside modern LLM and GenAI infrastructure.

For positions based in California, the annual base salary range is $212,000 to $265,000 USD. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as an applicant's experience and qualifications.
