Role Overview

The Machine Learning Platform Engineer focuses on building the underlying platforms, tooling, and infrastructure needed to bring artificial intelligence capabilities into production. Key Responsibilities

Build and operate machine learning infrastructure and platforms for AI products.
Design systems supporting model training, evaluation, deployment, inference, and experimentation.
Optimize model serving and inference infrastructure for low-latency and high-throughput workloads.
Enhance the reliability, scalability, latency, and cost efficiency of artificial intelligence systems.
Develop dependable pipelines for data preparation, training, evaluation, release, and continuous improvement.
Construct internal platforms and tooling that allow researchers and AI engineers to ship models rapidly.
Establish evaluation and benchmarking infrastructure to track model performance, quality, and regressions.
Implement production observability, tracing, monitoring, and alerting for machine learning workloads.
Identify performance bottlenecks across the machine learning stack and improve overall system capabilities.

Requirements

Possess strong software engineering fundamentals and a track record of building production systems.
Bring experience in constructing machine learning infrastructure, platforms, or production machine learning setups.
Demonstrate familiarity with model deployment, inference, evaluation, or data pipelines.
Show a solid understanding of system reliability and distributed systems.
