ActAI is seeking a Machine Learning Platform Engineer in the United States to construct and maintain the infrastructure supporting artificial intelligence capabilities. Role Overview

The Machine Learning Platform Engineer will design and operate the technical framework behind the artificial intelligence stack, handling everything from training and evaluation to deployment, inference, observability, and continuous enhancement. This contributor collaborates closely with researchers and product teams to convert models into dependable, scalable, and cost-efficient production operations while establishing internal tooling for rapid experimentation.

Key Responsibilities

Build and operate machine learning infrastructure and platforms for AI-driven products.
Design systems supporting model training, evaluation, deployment, inference, and experimentation.
Optimize model serving and inference architecture for high-throughput and low-latency demands.
Develop reliable pipelines dedicated to data preparation, training, evaluation, release cycles, and system improvements.
Construct production observability, monitoring, tracing, and alerting mechanisms specifically for machine learning workloads.
Create evaluation and benchmarking infrastructure to track quality, performance, and regressions.

Requirements

Strong software engineering fundamentals paired with experience creating production systems.
Background in developing machine learning infrastructure, platforms, or operational machine learning applications.
Experience handling model deployment, inference, evaluation, or data pipelines.
Solid understanding of distributed systems and overall system reliability.
Capability to write clean, maintainable, production-ready code.
