Key Responsibilities
Interns will design and execute AI evaluation campaigns across various modules such as contract lifecycle management, board portals, and legal entity management. Responsibilities include defining accuracy standards, establishing scoring rubrics, and diagnosing quality issues. Candidates will also build, curate, and maintain golden datasets of reference test sets to serve as the team's baseline for quality. Additional duties involve analyzing customer feedback to construct failure taxonomies, monitoring the competitive legal tech market, and documenting feature capabilities and limitations on Confluence for internal teams.
Requirements
Applicants must be gap year students at the Bac +4 or Bac +5 level fitting one of two distinct profiles. The first profile features a legal background with a strong interest in technology and curiosity about how tools function. The second profile features a technical or engineering background with a genuine interest in the legal domain and the ability to evaluate model outputs critically. Essential qualifications include either solid legal knowledge or a demonstrated ability to learn legal concepts rapidly, fluency in both French and English, and proficiency in productivity tools such as Confluence, Jira, Slack, and spreadsheets.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with large language models, prompt engineering, or artificial intelligence evaluation concepts is advantageous. Hands-on experience utilizing artificial intelligence tools specifically applied to legal work is considered a strong plus.
