Role Overview

The Engineering Manager for the AI Platform position at DiliTrust in Paris - La Défense involves leading a newly formed squad dedicated to the proprietary Lini AI engine. This permanent role suits an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in both software development and artificial intelligence integration.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with machine learning teams, product managers, and feature squads to deliver Lini features.

Translate model capabilities into product requirements while managing cross-team dependencies and project scope.

Lead code reviews, establish engineering standards, and contribute directly to architecture decisions.

Oversee end-to-end delivery from initial scoping to deployment and iteration across the DiliTrust suite.

Define and scale integration architecture for LLM connectors, context management, and module connections.

Partner with the Head of Engineering on technical roadmaps, cross-squad initiatives, and team recruitment.

Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, offer structured feedback, and mentor engineers on career growth.

Maintain software best practices including automated testing, documentation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability.

Requirements

Eight or more years of professional software engineering experience with B2B SaaS platforms in production environments.

Three or more years of experience managing an engineering team or product-oriented squad.

Demonstrated ownership of complex technical choices involving architecture, scalability, and code quality.

Professional background combining AI or machine learning with product engineering.

Proven ability to coordinate efficiently across product, engineering, and machine learning teams.

Professional fluency in both French and English.

Strong coding proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and Vue.js 3.

Solid practical experience integrating Large Language Models in production environments using RAG, streaming, tool use, and context management.

Familiarity with scalable web architectures, API design, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and DevOps practices.
