The Solutions Architecture team collaborates directly with enterprise customers to design solutions for complex data and AI challenges without existing templates.
In this capacity, the Lead Solutions Architect takes charge of major regional accounts by guiding technical and commercial relationships from initial discovery through production deployment. Beyond managing enterprise clients, this individual builds working prototypes rapidly using AI-assisted tools, mentors peer engineers, and establishes technical authority within the DACH market through public-facing events and content.
Ideal candidates bring a blend of senior pre-sales expertise, hands-on coding proficiency in Python and SQL, and deep domain knowledge in data engineering or data science. Fluency in both German and English is necessary for daily communication with regional stakeholders and internal product teams.
What you will do
- Manage and lead complex enterprise accounts with custom requirements throughout the entire sales lifecycle.
- Deliver pitches and technical demonstrations to budget holders and executive-level stakeholders.
- Build working software prototypes rapidly by leveraging AI-assisted development tools.
- Mentor senior and mid-level Solutions Architects in partnership with field engineering leadership.
- Contribute to the regional technical presence by hosting workshops, meetups, and conference talks.
- Develop standardized best practices and repeatable operational processes across the DACH market.
What you need
- Possess fluent German language skills alongside business-level English proficiency for daily customer interactions.
- Demonstrate substantial experience in technical pre-sales managing complex customer lifecycles.
- Show a strong track record in the data landscape with deep expertise in either data engineering or data science.
- Write code comfortably and hands-on using Python and SQL.
- Incorporate AI coding assistants and agents fluently into daily development work.
- Bring practical experience running complex proofs of concept on at least one major public cloud platform.
