Role Overview

This position involves taking technical ownership of complex products and systems while remaining hands-on with architecture and implementation. The professional in this role will guide other engineers, make critical technical decisions, and steer major projects from initial concept through production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical design and execution for major products, features, and engineering initiatives.
Build scalable and reliable systems covering backend, frontend, APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
Remain hands-on through coding, prototyping, debugging, code reviews, and production support.
Make architectural trade-offs balancing speed, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Translate ambiguous technical problems into structured execution plans.
Establish standards for code quality, system testing, security, and observability.
Mentor team members and provide actionable feedback on technical designs and code.
Identify engineering bottlenecks and collaborate closely with product, design, and AI teams.

Requirements

Solid software engineering background with extensive experience launching production systems.
Deep technical knowledge in areas such as backend, frontend, distributed systems, APIs, databases, or cloud infrastructure.
Proven system design skills for complex or high-scale environments.
Active coding capability and willingness to stay hands-on.
Demonstrated experience leading major technical projects or providing technical leadership.
Strong product sense linking technical choices to business outcomes.
Ability to operate effectively within ambiguous environments.
Strong English communication skills for collaborating across global teams.
