Role Overview

The Labour Legal Counsel will report directly to the Lead Labour & Employment law. The position focuses on providing essential labour law expertise while helping harmonize employment practices across the entire global footprint of Mistral AI. The selected candidate will act as the primary legal liaison for human resources teams, working alongside internal legal groups and external counsel worldwide to guarantee compliance, consistency, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver practical legal guidance regarding individual and collective worker relationships while collaborating with human resources.
Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements throughout the entire employee lifecycle to align with internal policies and French regulations.
Manage collective representation matters involving the CSE and other employee representative bodies.
Direct cross-border employment operations such as international mobility, secondments, and remote work arrangements.
Monitor international regulatory developments in key territories including France, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Singapore.

Requirements

Hold a Legal Master’s degree, specifically featuring a Master’s in French Labour Law.
Possess four to six years of professional experience, highlighted by a strong foundation in French individual and collective labour law.
Bring practical exposure to international jurisdictions, ideally including the United States and the United Kingdom.
Demonstrate an international mindset with the ability to coordinate across multicultural environments and various regions.
Exhibit robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills paired with high ethical standards.
