CoreWeave needs an Inventory Control Specialist to oversee server tracking, coordinate shipments, and run regular audits for the infrastructure teams in Warren, Ohio.
Working 100% onsite at the data center, this team member will partner with Operations, IT, Procurement, and Finance to allocate resources efficiently and keep detailed records using inventory management software. Ideal candidates bring proven inventory experience, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and comfort working in a physical data center environment where moving and lifting heavy objects is required.
What you will do
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware and IT assets within the designated data center region.
- Coordinate the shipping and receiving of IT materials while ensuring safe storage and distribution.
- Conduct ongoing audits of the asset inventory to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with the operations team to allocate resources efficiently and optimize hardware utilization.
- Keep detailed records of inventory, shipments, and audits to provide regular reports to management.
- Utilize inventory management software and Microsoft Excel to maintain precise records.
- Communicate across Operations, IT, Procurement, and Finance teams to support a smooth workflow.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records while traveling as needed to support various data center locations.
What you need
- Bring proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Show familiarity with asset management software and inventory tools.
- Possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Feel comfortable working in a data center environment with the ability to move and lift heavy objects.
