What you will do
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware and IT assets within the data center region.
- Coordinate the shipping and receiving of IT materials to guarantee safe storage and distribution.
- Conduct ongoing audits of the asset inventory to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with the operations team to allocate resources efficiently and optimize utilization.
- Keep detailed records of inventory, shipments, and audits while providing regular reports to management.
- Resolve discrepancies in inventory records and apply proactive measures to prevent future issues.
What you need
- Demonstrated experience in inventory management or a related professional field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.
- Familiarity with asset management software and inventory tools.
- Ability to move and lift heavy objects while working comfortably in a data center environment.
- Work authorization that does not require sponsorship from the company now or in the future.

Where is this job located?
This role will be 100% onsite at one of our data centers in Cheyenne, WY. Applicants must be willing to travel as needed to support inventory management and audits at various data center locations.
What is the salary range for this position?
The base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000. The starting salary is determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
Will visa sponsorship be provided?
Applicants must have work authorization that does not require sponsorship from the company now or in the future. The position also requires access to export controlled information.
