Role Overview

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, overseeing finished goods, managing materials inside the ERP system, and executing annual physical inventories. This position ensures production runs smoothly by giving the team timely access to required materials while keeping stock records accurate.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the movement of inventory across multiple projects, ensuring proper documentation and procedural compliance before and after transfers.
Execute monthly and annual cycle counts, maintain stock accuracy, minimize variances, and review Bills of Materials prior to production runs.
Supply the production floor by kitting jobs, issuing parts according to specifications, running components to the floor, pulling sheet metal for CNC operators, and unboxing items.
Assist with warehouse duties such as receiving, truck unloading, cleaning, lot pickup, and handling surplus materials or scrap disposal.

Requirements

Possess three to five years of inventory control experience within a manufacturing setting.
Meet the physical demands of the job, which include lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling materials.
Comply with the safety-sensitive designation of the role and facility, including mandatory participation in a drug and alcohol program.

Nice to Have

Prior experience operating a forklift.
Familiarity with MRP systems.
