TRM Labs is hiring a remote Head of Product Design in North America to lead an R&D product design team as a player-coach. This role is ideal for an experienced design leader who wants to combine team building with hands-on AI-assisted product creation.
Role Overview
TRM Labs provides AI-powered intelligence solutions that help public and private sector agencies investigate and disrupt crime. As the Head of Product Design, you will report directly to the VP of Product and lead a team of five product designers. You will operate as a player-coach, meaning you will actively perform design work while building and scaling a high-performing design organization. Your primary focus will be defining how design drives product outcomes and leading both humans and AI agents toward better decisions. You will work closely with product management, product marketing, engineering, and sales teams in a fast-paced environment.

The estimated base salary range for this North America remote role is $190,000 to $213,000 USD per year, determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible to participate in TRM’s equity plan. Approved travel, lodging, and workspace are coordinated and covered by TRM for required quarterly work weeks at designated locations.
