Role Overview

This position is based in Ukraine and Europe with remote work options available, offering a strategic opportunity to shape organizational architecture. The role suits an engineering leader who wants to scale AI across multiple products and departments.

Key Responsibilities

Construct the internal artificial intelligence operating system encompassing model gateways, routing mechanisms, fallbacks, caching, cost limits, agent orchestration, and registries.
Establish offline and online evaluations, automated judging systems, error tracking, drift detection, and detailed tracing for metrics like token usage, latency, and groundedness.
Enforce governance and security measures to protect against prompt injection, data exfiltration, and unauthorized permissions while maintaining human-in-the-loop controls.
Automate workflows for operations, human resources, and finance departments in collaboration with engineering leadership to expand autonomous execution.
Optimize cost economics through model routing, build-versus-buy evaluations, and the measurement of return on model investment.

Requirements

Two to three years of practical engineering experience with large language models in production environments.
Minimum of one year leading technical teams.
Comprehensive background in end-to-end artificial intelligence engineering, encompassing gateway architecture, retrieval-augmented generation, agents, and observability.
Practical knowledge of security frameworks, compliance standards, data pipelines, and evaluation methodologies.
Strong focus on unit economics, business impact measurement, and stakeholder communication.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with internal agent platforms, Cloudflare, Vercel, Databricks, n8n, Claude Code, and Model Context Protocol.
Background working within consumer or subscription holding structures and business-to-consumer metric systems.
