Tenstorrent is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager to oversee OSAT partnerships, backend manufacturing execution, and supply continuity from wafer-out to final shipment. This opportunity is available in Austin, Texas, Santa Clara, California, or Toronto, Ontario, and is ideal for supply chain professionals with a strong background in semiconductor manufacturing operations.

Role Overview

This position focuses on building high-performance AI systems and managing the supply chain required to deliver them at scale. The professional in this role will handle OSAT partnerships, backend manufacturing execution, and supply continuity. The position is based in Santa Clara, CA, Austin, TX, or Toronto, ON, and requires regular travel to Taiwan and other Asia-based partner sites approximately 25 to 30 percent of the time. Candidates must reside near one of these company hubs and possess the ability to collaborate across North American and Asia-Pacific time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Direct OSAT supplier relationships, Quarterly Business Reviews, Key Performance Indicator reviews, escalations, and commercial negotiations while maintaining accountability.
Coordinate engineering builds, qualification lots, process readiness, yield ramps, demand, capacity, materials, and production schedules with OSAT partners.
Oversee backend operations such as bumping, assembly, burn-in, final test, and system-level test for advanced packaging and multi-die products.
Direct substrate and critical-material sourcing, addressing capacity, pricing, tooling, lead-time risks, and high-density substrate requirements for High Bandwidth Memory and AI compute products.
Mitigate supply, quality, yield, logistics, and schedule risks by establishing reliable OSAT data, Key Performance Indicators, and processes for analytics and automation.

Requirements

Bring at least 7 years of professional experience in semiconductor supply chain management, manufacturing, or supplier management.
Hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a closely related field.
Possess a strong understanding of OSAT workflows, encompassing flip-chip, wire bond, and wafer-level packaging, along with practical experience engaging with Taiwan-based OSAT partners.
Demonstrate experience negotiating complex supplier agreements, pricing, tooling, or Non-Recurring Engineering costs while managing technical, commercial, and operational relationships.
Exhibit clear communication skills with the ability to coordinate across global teams and time zones.
Display structured, data-driven operational experience using Enterprise Resource Planning systems like SAP or Oracle, Product Lifecycle Management systems, and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology and comply with related federal laws.

Total compensation for engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k to $500k, which includes both base salary and variable compensation targets.
