Crusoe is seeking a Global Category Manager, Fiber to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for data center categories in Bellevue, Washington. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced supply chain professional with a background in data center infrastructure, cloud, or hardware supply chains.
Role Overview
Crusoe is looking for a strategic operator to serve as the single-threaded leader for global category strategy, driving cost efficiency, supply resiliency, and supplier partnerships. The position focuses on shaping global sourcing and category strategies aligned with organizational goals while supporting rapid expansion in AI infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Build and execute innovative, cost-effective global sourcing and category strategies that align with business objectives.
Evaluate and manage key global suppliers to ensure adherence to quality benchmarks and strict delivery timelines.
Direct contract negotiations and commercial terms to secure advantageous pricing and payment conditions.
Perform thorough risk assessments and establish contingency plans for continuous business operations.
Direct cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders to forecast category requirements.
Evaluate global spend data, market dynamics, and vendor performance to uncover cost reduction opportunities.
Oversee Quarterly Business Reviews and ongoing performance evaluations with strategic international suppliers.
Promote sustainability practices within procurement operations to support corporate environmental initiatives.
Track industry shifts, global market developments, and category advancements to maintain competitive advantage.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or a related discipline.
Around 5 to 7+ years of professional background in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement, ideally within Data Center Infrastructure, Cloud, or Hardware supply chains.
Demonstrated success directing global supply chains, handling intricate vendor relationships, ensuring compliance, and scaling process improvements.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational talents.
Direct exposure working alongside global manufacturers, owning vendor qualification, documentation, and performance management.
Background partnering with hyperscalers, original equipment manufacturers, original design manufacturers, or infrastructure providers.
Nice to Have
Background managing global categories across diverse regions or geographies.
Specific expertise managing Data Center Fiber infrastructure, including Indoor Plant Fiber, Outdoor Plant Fiber, In-the-row fiber connectivity, and cabling.
Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM.
Prior involvement with AI and data center infrastructure supply chains.

Annual salary range of $140,000 to $170,000 plus bonus, with exact compensation determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
