Role Overview

As a General Ledger Accountant at Crusoe, the selected candidate will own cash accounting, accrual processes, and related financial functions. Operating from the Denver office, this role sits at the intersection of treasury and accounting, requiring precision in tracking and reconciling transactions to help expedite the month-end close process.

Key Responsibilities

Review cash transactions, verify the completeness of cash entries, and perform monthly cash reconciliations from the general ledger to bank statements.
Reconcile sub-ledgers and other systems to the general ledger for accruals and additional transactions.
Coordinate relationships with the tax, treasury, fixed asset, and revenue accounting teams to accurately record complex transactions.
Assist the tax team with direct and indirect monthly accruals.
Support external audit processes and due diligence requests.

Requirements

Possess 2 to 3 years of professional accounting experience.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field of study.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP principles regarding cash, accruals, internal controls, and accounting best practices.
Exhibit data fluency with the ability to manipulate and analyze large volumes of data quickly and accurately.
Show technical software proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and essential Excel skills.

Nice to Have

Prior work background in the data center, energy, or heavy manufacturing sectors.
Familiarity with implementing or optimizing advanced Excel tools such as Power Queries.
Experience utilizing software systems including Sage Intacct, FloQast, Coupa, and Kyriba.
Active CPA license or status as a candidate for licensure.
