To address the need for robust infrastructure supporting generative AI applications, Stone requires a senior software engineer to build and scale internal capabilities. The selected engineer joins a cross-functional squad focused on developing generative AI platforms, conversational chatbots, and integrations with core company systems. Responsibilities include delivering robust APIs, content management systems, and production pipelines that adhere to strict engineering standards. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced, metrics-driven environments using agile methodologies while balancing technical execution with continuous learning.
What you will do
- Design, execute, and maintain software features that support generative AI platforms and chatbots.
- Deliver scalable APIs, content managers, and solutions to bring artificial intelligence models into production.
- Apply robust software engineering practices focused on high quality and system scalability.
- Collaborate within an agile framework connecting discovery and delivery through short validation cycles.
- Communicate clearly and provide technical guidance to teammates while planning incremental work deliveries.
What you need
- Bring five or more years of professional software development experience spanning software design, APIs, AI models, or messaging.
- Demonstrate mastery in TypeScript and or Node.js along with strong software engineering principles.
- Utilize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines regularly.
- Work with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Collaborate effectively using agile practices like Kanban, Scrum, or XP.

- Experience in both Node and Python
- Postgres and RDS
