Role Overview

Alan is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join the engineering team and contribute to Hopper, the internal agentic AI platform. This remote role is open to candidates located anywhere in France, Belgium, or Spain. The position is well-suited for a passionate developer who enjoys building internal platforms, distributed runtimes, and user-facing AI products.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop durable AI sessions available across the web, Slack, Linear, and GitHub for coding, data analysis, and automation.

Build agent runtimes and orchestration systems, covering control planes, model routing, long-running execution, and isolated sandboxes.

Implement secure connectors via an MCP Gateway to manage identity, permissions, audit trails, and sensitive workloads.

Create reusable workflows, scheduled automations, hosted tools, and dashboards.

Focus on trust and review mechanisms by exposing tests, previews, sources, and tool actions for verifiable AI outcomes.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering.

Background in building products, internal platforms, frameworks, or infrastructure used by others.

Demonstrated depth in at least one relevant area, such as AI agents and evaluations, developer platforms, product UX, distributed systems, or security and authorization.

Ability to own work completely from front-end user interactions to back-end reliability in production.

Fluency in English, with legal eligibility to work in France, Belgium, or Spain.

Nice to Have

Practical experience working with LLM APIs, agent harnesses, MCP, or AI-assisted coding tools.
