Role Overview

Actai seeks a Full Stack Engineer for AI Systems to construct the product layer that converts AI capabilities into dependable workflows. The professional will design operational mechanics for agents, manage failure and recovery states, and deliver consistent value to users.

Key Responsibilities

Construct end-to-end product features spanning frontend components, backend services, and AI integrations.
Architect agent workflows managing planning, tool usage, failures, and recovery procedures across multiple steps.
Embed LLMs, memory modules, and external tools into systems operating reliably under real-world conditions.
Engineer real-time AI interactions incorporating streaming, partial results, and strict latency limits.
Enhance system reliability, observability, and fallback mechanisms.
Partner with machine learning, backend, and product units to release features from conception to production.
Refine features iteratively using real usage data and observed failure modes.

Requirements

Strong background in full stack engineering covering both frontend and backend development.
Firm grasp of system design principles and API architecture.
Background working with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation systems, or AI-driven applications.
Capacity to navigate ambiguity and execute pragmatic engineering decisions.
High level of ownership to shepherd features from initial ideas to production releases.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments featuring shifting requirements.
