Role Overview

Crusoe is seeking a Finance Manager, Deal Desk to build and manage financial governance programs supporting the expanding sales team in Sunnyvale, CA. This full-time position suits an analytical professional with extensive experience in commercial workflows who wants to balance operational speed with strict financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

Create and implement processes and procedures to ensure financial governance over deal quoting and approval workflows.
Serve as a strategic business partner to Sales and RevOps regarding deal inquiries, develop pricing options for standard-SKU deals, and build tooling for term and prepay tradeoff frameworks.
Review incoming deals against established policies to approve them or route them for appropriate higher-level sign-off.
Analyze contract language to identify and flag potential financial, accounting, or operational risks, coordinating with Legal and Pricing departments as necessary.
Track and report on metrics such as discounting trends, deal cycle times, and policy exceptions.
Perform ad-hoc analyses for Go-To-Market and Finance leadership to evaluate deal term trends across the business book and model proposed changes to the tradeoff framework.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, Legal, and Product Finance to maintain efficient deal processes without introducing operational bottlenecks.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in deal desk, revenue operations, sales finance, investment banking, or a related analytical discipline.
Proven track record of successfully building and overseeing programs that support scalable commercial operations.
Direct experience collaborating with sales teams, preferably within an enterprise technology environment.
Ability to independently review and comprehend contracts to isolate financially impactful terms without legal translation.
Demonstrated proficiency working with Salesforce or an equivalent CRM or CPQ tool.

Nice to Have

Background working in cloud infrastructure, compute sectors, or capital-intensive recurring-revenue businesses.
Prior involvement in creating or maintaining pricing and tradeoff frameworks.

SQL proficiency, including experience with BigQuery or similar systems
