Role Overview

The Field CTO, APAC position is an externally-facing, influence-driven leadership role based in Singapore. The professional selected will act as a peer to enterprise boards, CIOs, and CTOs, helping strategic accounts define their artificial intelligence roadmap. Responsibilities include running executive briefings, building trusted advisor relationships, publishing thought leadership, and feeding market insights directly back into the company's product development teams.

Key Responsibilities

Run the Executive Briefing Center alongside the regional VP to host C-level stakeholders at strategic enterprise accounts.
Build and sustain trusted advisor relationships with Chief Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers, Chief Data Officers, and VPs of Engineering.
Publish regular articles, whitepapers, and industry analysis outlining the future of enterprise artificial intelligence.
Brief major analyst firms such as Gartner and Forrester regarding the corporate product roadmap and market positioning.
Represent the organization at major industry events through keynotes, panel discussions, and roundtables.
Translate customer deployment constraints and governance requirements from executive conversations into product direction feedback.

Requirements

Bring 10 to 25 years of professional experience in enterprise technology, having held titles such as Field CTO, Principal Architect, VP of Engineering, or technical company founder.
Possess a demonstrable public track record in the artificial intelligence field, including published papers, articles, or talks.
Hold a clear, defensible position on open-weight models and their impact on enterprise adoption.
Demonstrate fluency in European data sovereignty and on-premise deployment architectures.
Possess cross-vertical fluency capable of engaging stakeholders across sectors like financial services, manufacturing, defense, and energy.
Be comfortable with traveling 30 to 50 percent of the time depending on regional requirements.

Nice to Have

An existing network of CTO and CIO relationships at enterprise accounts within the APAC region.
Prior experience in a Field CTO or equivalent externally facing technical role at a major cloud or artificial intelligence enterprise.
Fluency in multiple languages spoken across the APAC territory.
