About this role
Engineering leadership at Databricks in Amsterdam needs relief from operational friction so they can scale their impact across global R&D initiatives. This multi-executive role solves that problem by embedding an autonomous partner who can manage complex schedules, bridge time zones, and maintain the operational rhythm for multiple leaders without requiring constant direction.
Working directly with R&D Vice Presidents and local engineering teams, the person in this seat will own calendar optimization, travel logistics, cross-functional planning, and preparation for critical engineering forums. The environment moves quickly and rewards confident judgment, direct communication, and a proactive approach to process improvement.
Candidates who succeed here are comfortable operating in ambiguity, handling sensitive information with discretion, and balancing distinct executive styles. Anyone with a background in global tech environments who enjoys using AI tools to streamline administrative workflows will find a natural fit within this Amsterdam-based team.
