Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage frontend, backend, and full-stack engineering personnel.
Own engineering delivery for major product areas while maintaining reliability standards.
Collaborate with product, design, mobile, backend, and AI teams to resolve ambiguous product requirements.
Drive architectural decisions across APIs, databases, infrastructure, and customer-facing systems.
Establish standards for code quality, testing, security, and production observability.
Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and debugging sessions.
Coach engineers through feedback, performance management, and career development.
Refine internal processes, automation, and tooling to support system scaling.
Monitor production systems, address incidents, and perform root-cause analysis.

Requirements

Background in software engineering with experience shipping production systems.
Prior experience managing software engineers and overseeing delivery.
Technical expertise across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
Ability to balance development speed, scalability, and maintainability during technical trade-offs.
Track record of taking products from initial concept through launch and production.
Proficiency in reviewing technical designs and handling complex debugging.
Strong English communication skills for a distributed international team environment.
