Key Responsibilities

Direct and support a team of frontend, backend, and full-stack software developers.
Oversee product delivery to ensure rapid deployment without sacrificing system reliability.
Collaborate with product, design, mobile, backend, and artificial intelligence departments to shape technical execution.
Define technical architecture concerning application programming interfaces, databases, integrations, infrastructure, and user systems.
Establish engineering benchmarks for code standards, testing, observability, security, and production stability.
Participate in technical work through architecture reviews, code inspections, and troubleshooting.
Coach engineers via regular feedback, performance evaluations, and clear role expectations.
Enhance internal workflows, tooling, and automation to support scaling.
Monitor production systems, address incidents, and investigate root causes.

Requirements

Background in software engineering with experience deploying production systems.
History of managing software engineers and overseeing technical delivery.
Technical expertise spanning backend systems, frontend development, application programming interfaces, databases, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs regarding speed, scalability, and maintainability.
Record of taking systems from initial concept through development and launch.
Capacity to evaluate technical designs and troubleshoot production problems.
