Role Overview

Cyberhaven is seeking a remote Director, Technical Program Management to lead planning and execution across complex engineering initiatives throughout the organization. This full-time individual contributor position suits an experienced technical leader who drives impact through expertise, judgment, and cross-functional influence rather than direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

Direct end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution for multi-team engineering programs in partnership with engineering and product leaders.
Design and facilitate the engineering operating cadence, including monthly and quarterly business reviews, executive readouts, and action follow-through.
Standardize organization-wide success metrics concerning quality, velocity, and release health to maximize delivery predictability.
Establish rigorous data hygiene standards across tools like Jira to ensure reliable progress and ownership signals at scale.
Lead ambiguous, high-priority engineering initiatives that require additional operational structure and executive visibility.
Spearhead the development of AI-assisted dashboards, automated reporting workflows, and integrated tooling connecting Jira, Notion, GitHub, and Slack.

Requirements

Ten or more years of professional background in Technical Program Management, Engineering Operations, Release Management, or related technical fields.
Proven track record operating at a Director level as an individual contributor with broad organizational scope.
Strong technical fluency and systems-level thinking regarding engineering processes, release workflows, and operational metrics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored for executive stakeholders.
Deep familiarity with scalable Jira-based workflows, process hygiene, and operational reporting.

Nice to Have

Experience building AI-assisted reporting systems, dashboards, or automation.
Familiarity with DORA metrics, SLO and SLA methodologies, and delivery scorecards.
Background working in security, SaaS, cloud, endpoint, or infrastructure-heavy environments.
Experience supporting distributed engineering organizations.
