Analyze project performance against original underwriting, budgets, and benchmarks to distinguish changes driven by scope, schedule, or design.
Develop the financial view of construction economics and capital efficiency to help leadership evaluate tradeoffs between cost, speed, and capacity.
Partner with engineering and estimating teams to improve early-stage project estimates through continuous feedback loops of actual performance.
Establish portfolio-level visibility across active data center projects to highlight cost trends, emerging risks, and forecast changes.
Translate project EACs and construction schedules into reliable capital and cash-spend forecasts that roll into broader long-range plans.
Deliver financial analysis for major design changes, change orders, and procurement decisions that impact project economics.
Define source-of-truth data, reporting architecture, and controls required for project cost analytics.
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience covering construction finance, project controls, capital projects accounting, or project finance within data centers, energy, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure.
Direct experience managing construction budgets, cost reporting, and draw processes on large capital projects of $100M+ in scale.
Working knowledge of GC and EPC contract structures, change order management, and construction risk allocation.
Familiarity with construction loan agreements, draw mechanics, and independent engineer requirements.
