Key Responsibilities

Deliver performant and scalable products iteratively by helping teams balance incremental customer value delivery with long-term product evolution.
Drive the technical roadmap and best practices for the product platform to accommodate rapid growth and user demand.
Innovate new uses for AI development tooling and tune current usage for greater efficiency over time.
Attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent while hiring and coaching engineering managers.
Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance conversations to foster a high-performing team.
Measure engineering performance and adjust team structures or processes to increase throughput and efficiency.
Partner with architecture, product management, and threat operations leaders to ensure technical alignment and meet customer needs.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in engineering leadership building SaaS products in a modern SaaS environment.
5+ years of experience at the director level or higher.
Hands-on experience with Claude Code or similar AI development tools.
Experience and knowledge of best practices for scalable delivery, core platform systems, site reliability engineering, and developer experience.
Experience developing, evolving, and maintaining high-volume, scalable solutions.
Deep understanding of organizing engineering teams to deliver customer value iteratively.
Skilled at hiring, building teams, leading, and coaching managers, and performance management.
Demonstrated success working with architecture and product management leaders to execute a shared product and technical vision.
Experience working in a fully remote environment.
