Director, Design Management
About this role
The Data Center Design team builds and manages the delivery of architectural, engineering, and technology designs across CoreWeave’s global data center portfolio. This group coordinates the full design lifecycle from early-stage project definition through construction, commissioning support, and IT deployment to ensure technical requirements align with budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
This leadership role directs the Design Management team by overseeing project management across greenfield developments, build-to-suit facilities, leased data centers, tenant fit-outs, and infrastructure upgrades. The person in this position mentors internal staff, establishes consistent design governance processes, and partners closely with engineering and technology peers to integrate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and low-voltage standards into executable project designs.
An ideal candidate brings a professional foundation in engineering or architecture combined with extensive experience managing multidisciplinary design activities in mission-critical environments. This individual thrives on maintaining portfolio-level visibility, resolving complex technical escalations, and guiding a high-performing team through rapid physical infrastructure expansion.
