Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the artificial intelligence and machine learning engineering strategy aligned with organizational goals.

Recruit, mentor, and grow teams of applied scientists and machine learning engineers.

Direct the delivery of features covering search, pricing, recommendations, forecasting, counterfeit detection, and fraud prevention.

Establish architectural standards spanning classical machine learning models and generative artificial intelligence.

Oversee A/B testing and experimentation protocols to evaluate performance and allocate resources.

Scale machine learning platforms and MLOps procedures to support reliable and efficient deployments.

Requirements

Ten or more years of practical, hands-on experience in applied science or machine learning engineering with production systems.

Seven or more years of working experience in data science or machine learning, including computer vision, recommendation systems, or search.

Five or more years of engineering leadership managing complex initiatives and developing personnel.

Demonstrated history of owning artificial intelligence roadmaps through cross-functional collaboration.

Technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, model architecture, and system design.

Nice to Have

Experience leading multiple machine learning teams or managing other managers.

Background in e-commerce, marketplaces, or supply chain domains.

Advanced degree in machine learning, computer science, or a related discipline.

Familiarity with AWS and centralized machine learning platforms.
