About this role
Complex organizations often struggle to accelerate usage and maximize return on investment for selected workloads on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. To address this, the delivery team requires a Delivery Solutions Architect to act as the post-sale technical lead across all Databricks products for strategic accounts.
In this hybrid technical and commercial capacity, the person in this role will drive platform adoption, build executive relationships, and orchestrate specialized internal teams. Success requires combining deep technical credibility with strong project management capabilities to navigate customer challenges and coordinate delivery plans.
What you will do
- Engage with Solutions Architects to understand use case demand plans for prioritized customers.
- Lead post-technical win strategy and execution plans for the majority of Databricks use cases.
- Serve as the accountable technical leader assigned to specific use cases and customers across multiple selling teams.
- Act as the primary contact for technical issues or questions concerning production and go-live statuses.
- Coordinate with Professional Services resources on the delivery of engagement proposals.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to handle private previews, upgrades, and new product innovations.
- Provide internal and external updates including KPI reporting on usage status and customer health.
What you need
- Minimum of five years of experience in technical project or program delivery within the data and AI domain.
- Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
- Background in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
- Understanding of solution architecture related to distributed data systems.
- Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
- Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar objective targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
