The Delivery Solutions Architect guides strategic customers through post-sale adoption, functioning as the primary technical lead to accelerate workloads into production and maximize platform return on investment. Daily responsibilities involve owning technical account strategies, addressing production issues, and connecting customers with engineering teams for product innovations. What you will do
- Engage with Solutions Architects to understand full use case demand plans for prioritized customers.
- Lead post-technical win account strategies and execution plans for Databricks use cases within strategic accounts.
- Serve as the accountable technical leader assigned to specific workloads across multiple selling teams and internal stakeholders.
- Act as the primary contact for technical issues and questions regarding production and go-live status within an account.
- Coordinate with Professional Services resources to create and execute strategies that accelerate key use cases into production.
- Navigate Product and Engineering teams to support new product innovations, private previews, and upgrade needs.
- Provide internal and external updates through KPI reporting on usage status, customer health, investment tracking, and risk assessment.
What you need
- Bring over seven years of experience accountable for technical project or program delivery within the data and AI domain.
- Possess programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
- Demonstrate background in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
- Show a strong understanding of solution architecture related to distributed data systems.
- Understand how to attribute business value and outcomes to specific project deliverables.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Maintain the ability to travel up to 30 percent of the time when necessary.
