Role Overview

Wildlife Studios is seeking a Data Scientist for its Insights team located in São Paulo, Brazil. The professional will embed with product teams to address complex challenges such as matchmaking optimization, economic scaling, content customization, and experimentation design.

Key Responsibilities

Utilize experimentation, advanced statistics, and the scientific method to test hypotheses and improve games continuously.
Analyze large player datasets to influence product strategy, retention, and monetization.
Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to answer business questions and build automations.
Solve core product challenges involving game economies, matchmaking, and live content customization.
Integrate agentic AI and modern tools into daily workflows to enhance technical and analytical standards.
Support team decisions by establishing analytical rigor and developing data products and frameworks.

Requirements

Practical experience in applied statistics, machine learning, experimentation design, A/B testing, and predictive modeling.
Ability to analyze player behavior and convert data into insights for cross-functional partners.
Proficiency in SQL and Python or R for data querying, cleaning, and analysis.
Familiarity with AI tools like LLMs or coding assistants to accelerate task execution.
Capacity to communicate complex findings clearly in written English.
