This foundational data scientist position focuses on establishing and scaling internal analytics capabilities across the organization. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, finance, marketing, and sales departments to design production-grade models, build dashboards, and define critical operational metrics. Success in this role requires turning ambiguous questions into actionable forecasts, structured experiments, and clear strategic recommendations.

What you will do
- Design and maintain production-quality dashboards and models supporting multiple business units.
- Establish and track core performance indicators covering capacity, availability, return on investment, and revenue.
- Process and transform raw information pipelines utilizing industry-standard data tools.
- Collaborate across departments to translate organizational objectives into practical analytical solutions.
- Evaluate product and commercial data to guide go-to-market strategies and product roadmaps.
- Communicate insights and strategic recommendations clearly to company leadership and technical teams.
What you need
- Minimum of five years of professional background working in business intelligence, data engineering, or analytics positions.
- Advanced structured query language abilities for building intricate transformations and analyses.
- Practical background in implementing medallion data architectures complete with testing, lineage, and documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills paired with a collaborative approach to cross-functional partnerships.
- Proven capability to distill complicated analyses into concise recommendations for business and technical audiences.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI infrastructure, developer platforms, or inference.
- Hands-on forecasting expertise, including ARIMA, Prophet, or comparable time-series methods, with disciplined backtesting, error analysis, and scenario planning.
- Working knowledge of model-serving and training workflows and the infrastructure metrics that shape performance and cost.
- Practical experimentation experience, including test design, power analysis and knowing when directional evidence is sufficient to act.
